Love In An
PART ONE
Free flow, inside, above, below,
a fusion of emotions left unchained.
Pure energy, demands to be free,
yet more than that freed has remained.
You are inhaled, you are exhaled,
never failing to touch my very being.
You are all I know, in my blood flow,
my sense of touch, smell and seeing.
You are not far or near, you are here,
the sound, the tone, my very heart beat.
You are true taste, the rest is waste,
together we are the sense complete.
PART TWO
My breathing is tight, it’s really not right,
I have lost a part of me inside.
No longer free flow, it all moves so slow,
I feel like a part of me has died.
My senses are now numb, from toe to thumb,
my blood has lost its life force.
Food is of no interest, life has lost its zest,
my love for you is there of course.
Communication broken, ages since we’ve spoken,
I wonder and I worry if you’re alright.
From pure heaven to hell, quicker than a spell,
I love you and I will day and night.
